Hearing Aid Fittings
The hearing aid fit appointment typically lasts about an hour. The hearing specialist examines the patient ear and performs specialized tests with and without hearing aid on patient’s ear to gauge and verify the performance and potential benefit from the hearing aid. Upon completion of the testing part the hearing specialist demonstrates the use, care and maintenance of the hearing aid.
The patients are usually seen for few subsequent follow-up appointments to check on the hearing aid progress and targeted benefit.
